MUMBAI: Students across the state received their HSC marksheets on Thursday, but more than 70 students at a city college could not get their marksheets as a wrong bundle was delivered there. Some students also complained that they were marked absent in some subjects despite appearing for the examination.
The HSC results were announced on May 27.
NM College, Vile Parle, received marksheets that belonged to students from Chetana College in Bandra.
“We received 74 marksheets that weren’t from our college. We were told we will receive the correct marksheets on Friday,” said vice-principal, Kusum Mahadik. “After we got a call from NM College, we went and collected our marksheets,” said Maheshchandra Joshi, principal at Chetana College.
S Chandekar, deputy divisional secretary, Mumbai, said, “We haven’t received complaints about this but it’s possible that some bundles might have got exchanged. In such cases, colleges can report to the board and the right marksheets will be handed over.”—Divina Pereira
